This is "Rocky" the flying squirrel. Most of the materials that were used to make this fly came from a gray squirrel, except for the hook, wings, eyes and thread. I used size 12 dry fly hook; black 6/0 thread; wings were from a Mallard duck; the eyes were clear halographic 1/4 inch. I ran this fly through my home made swim tank (see You Tube for my video on how to build your own swim tank for $40.00 US). This fly swam perfectly with a lot of action.
