Notes: Bill tied his rendition of the Renous Special on a massive #7/0 vintage Partridge low water salmon iron. The pattern is a local design named for both the originator and the Renous river. The Renous River is divided into two major branches, the North and the South, which join the Southwest Miramichi River at the village of Quarryville. The river is noted for it's run of Atlantic salmon which run from June to October. The fly is deadly smelt imitation for spring run salmon and steelhead and should be fished deep.

Bill, I've never seen this pattern before. It is awesome. Artfully tied, lovely color combos...enjoyed the fly immensely.
