Originated by: David Mac
Hook: Martinek Carrie Stevens hook #1 10X Long
Thread: Black
Body: Olive floss
Rib: Silver Mylar tinsel (size 10)
Belly: Spares yellow bucktail
Throat: Yellow hackle
Wing: Two yellow saddle hackles (*) flanked by four grizzly saddle hackles
Shoulder: Yellow Guinea hen
Notes: Commissioned in 1979 for A. J. Randall for his camp at Grand Lake Stream, ME. There is also a version done in primary colors and white. *The yellow feathers should tied in slightly higher than the flanking grizzly hackle so that it forms a razorback.

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
