This looks like Belgian Geert Werbrouck's interpretation of a Danish coast classic: the Omoe Brush, but tied with some extras like both red and yellow hackles and a rib between the sections.

A wonderful little book with Belgian Geert Werbrouck's beautiful wet flies. Lots of pictures, lots of patterns, lots of tying and material tips.

This fly is originally meant to be an imitation of a small clamworm like a small Nereis, but can be considered a generic pattern more than an exact imitation of these polychaetes. It takes its outset in the red body feathers of the Golden Pheasant.
