The Global FlyFisher has recently been updated to a new publishing system, and there may be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.

A normal season

Everything indicates that this season will be far better than the last one - which was catastrophic.
The spring fishing has been moderately good until now, but it seems that there's a fairly good day time fishing right now. I hear regular reports of good catches - unfortunately I haven't participated myself - too little time and too much to do... you know the story.
But listening to the reports tell me that the spin fishers are still in most luck. This is mostly the case in the spring. But do not leave your fly rod at home because of that. These fish are hungry, and they do eat a lot of small critters. So have your flies ready

As good as ever

The cod has gained a foothold in Denmark. Years back the fishing for cod was so excellent that many fishers set out to fish for cod alone - directly from the coast. But in the last ten years or so, this fishing has diminished to almost nothing. Fortunately these fish now return in vast numbers, and the cod fishing is as good as ever. Flyfish or spin for them from coast or boat. Fish deep and slow and have some great hours with dozens of fish.
We also expect the garfish in any day now. That's always great fun - the few weeks it lasts.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
