The torn cartilage has been cleaned up, and thanks to the miracles of modern surgical techniques it seems as if I'm ready to fish again.
It appears as if the entire fly fishing universe is going to descend upon the Catskills for a weekend of trout fishing, as there are at least two separate large gatherings of travelling anglers that are going to be crowding the rivers. My own gang of miscreants is staying along the East Branch, which is knee-friendly water for the most part. I'll be joining the gang Saturday for a bit of trout fishing, some shoreline judging, lots of friendly banter, and maybe even a belly filling meal.
Green Drakes should be hatching. Whoo hoo!!
