Envy, envy!

Those pictures are really nice, Bob! I wish I was the one that had a stream as close to my house as you have - with such beautiful fish!

Living in a large city like I do - Copenhagen with 1.5 million inhabitants and very little nature. It may be green, but running water is something you find in toilets - literally. Most surface water in the area is heavily influenced by the usage of water by the big city.

So I have to drive an hour or so to get to a good stream, and a gem like yours is hardly found withing 2-3 hours of where I live. Maybe closer by in Sweden, but both include long drives and a hefty bridge toll, so no short trips after dinner or a lazy Sunday afternoon for me.

I have my coastal stretches, which can be found about one hour away, but I would love to have my own little stream like you.

Envy, envy!

Since you got this far …

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
