How to Start the New Year's Right

No comments yet

Well, it's December 29th and I'm packing up my gear for a 4 day fishing adventure that will take me to the San Juan in New Mexico and the South Platte in Colorado...among other rivers in between. I'm after hawg browns and rainbows that are feeding on leeeeetle stuff, size 20-24. There's nothing like catching a 2-4 kilo fish, 20+ inches, on a hook you could sneeze out of your nose and never know it.

All I can think about is the rich fishing waters I have at my doorstep here in Colorado. With this being a big year for GFF (upgrades in service; coming soon, and our 10th year on the web) I can only think that I want to share my 'home' waters with the GFF partners as a special treat. I was fortunate enuf to have Martin come visit last year...I think I did a decent job of showing him around and putting him on good fish water. A 100+-fish trip is bad, eh Martin?!

Well, off to pack for another adventure that just may turn out to be another feature on GFF. "Fishing Winter Tailwaters" or "Big Mountain Hawgs" or something like that. We'll let the trip results guide the article contents!

Happy New Year to all our loyal visitors and expecially to my GFF partner bretheren.

Since you got this far …

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
