Arrangements with casting instructions are quite common, and more and more manufacturers and shops support their product sales by having good casters demonstrate and teach their skills.
Not long ago I blogged about a less-impressive arrangement, and put forward som general thoughts about casting instructors and casting instruction.
I hope that people who will witness Amercian caster and author Mel Krieger will get something better out of watching him when he appears in Germany and Austria on several occasions in July.
It's the German outfit Springforelle, which will bring in Krieger for these arrangements. Springforelle also distributes Mel Krieger's latest DVD-epos, Fly Casting Faults and Fixes, which can be obtained on their website. We are currently reviewing this DVD and hope to be able to publish the review before Mr. Krieger arrives.
I will not be able to attend to any of the arrangements, but if Krieger is anywhere near being his usual, lively self, the audience is probably in for a memorable day.
