The Global FlyFisher has recently been updated to a new publishing system, and there may be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.

The Server Blues is an old blog thread here on GFF, which has a long history of server moves. This time the move is sparked by very high traffic prices, and an urge to save a bit of money.

So we have moved the site to a new location, but haven't aired it yet.

How would you like to help us test the new system?

Go to the new site (no longer working) and hammer it! Try everything, surf the articles, post comments, upload images. ALL WILL BE DELETED AGAIN once we update the database to the current live one, so don't worry.

That also means that the new site isn't quite up to date, and don't worry about that either. Once we're satisfied, the new site will just replace the old one on the right URL.

Drop me a mail on martin@globalflyfisher.com if you find anything wrong. And drop me a mail too, if everthing is OK.

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
