Notes: The Pirate is one of the more striking Carrie Stevens patterns with the quite colorful blue peacock feather. Based on the records kept by those catching salmon on the upper dam pool, the fly makes it debut around 1931. Surely this one is tied to not only catch the salmon but also the angler.
