Alan's Biography
I have fished streamers ever since the first vacation we took to Mooselookmeguntic Lake in Rangeley Maine back in the mid 70's. I love their style and their histories . As a fly tyer thats only happened a few years ago. I will tie the well known classics, but I like to tie my own, with a lot of colors, "attractors" I guess. I have recieved a great deal of help and support from some wonderful people. You can visit Alan's blog at Small Stream Reflections

Alan: Great fly and well tied. I will tie a few and try them on our local lake this spring.

Alan-
i'm having trouble locating good quality hackle for my streamers. Any suggestions?

Comment to Alan Petrucci...

I have done business with these people many times. Always first rate saddles and capes.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
