Gary's Streamers
Gary's Biography
I spent 10 years working for the National Wild Turkey Federation, first as a Regional Director, and finally as their first Director of Development. I then became Executive Director of the American Museum of Fly Fishing, a position I held for almost 7 years - making me the longest serving director of that institution in its history (trust me, that's an accomplishment!). I left the nonprofit world to become, happily, a self-employed carpenter/cabinet maker. Leaving the nonprofit grind was the single smartest move I ever made! And now, at 61, I try VERY hard to fish more than I work. I'm getting pretty good at that.

Raise heritage turkeys in many colour patterns and would like to speak with you about your applications for using turkey feathers in fly tying.
Thank you kindly.

Hi, I just now saw this, sorry I didn't see it sooner. I don't use a lot of turkey feathers in the flies I tie, sad to say. You might surf around this site and see what tyers are showing flies tied with some turkey.
Sorry not to be of any help,
Gary

I loved the picture of the really relaxed guy in the photo. Would like to take him fishing. An old friend from Pa. Gary Magee
