I was finally able to make it down to the International Fly Tying Symposium to take in everything fly tying. My focus was mainly to check out all things streamer, but I managed to sneek in a little bit more as well. I took a few pictures to share, you can check out the set here.

Here are a few images from the weekend.

Don Bastian & Sharon Wright Streamers

Steve Silverio Streamers

Stephen Cullen - Brown ghost

Crow Warrior - Mike Martinek

Shawn Davis Grey Ghost

It was a bit of a drive from Ontario, but well worth the trip. I had a chance to meet quite a number of tyers that I have met online over the last few years, and even a few of the tyers taking part in the streamer project. I was only able to stay for the Saturday show, and that was hardly enough time. I could have spent another day just getting around to see all the tyers present. Thanks to everyone who made it an enjoyable weekend.

A wonderful photographic diary, Thank you Darren. I was unable to get there this year, but nothing shy of death will keep me away next year :)

Thanks for checking out the pics David. I really wish I had taken more, but there are just too many people to chat with at the show. :) Hope to see you there next year.

Great pics Darren, just too bad you werent able to be just an impartial observer and take more but judging by what is here you were probably like a kid in a candy shop and did not know where to start.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
