Hook: Partridge CS15 #4
Body: Gold wide mylar tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: White hackle fibers
Wing: Gray hackle flanked by yellow hackle 1/3 shorter
Shoulder: Blue under red hen feather
Cheek: Jungle cock
Head: Black (Red with black band)
Notes: As is the case in many of Carrie's streamers, there was not much written down as to the origins of the pattern. The Will Ketch is a fairly straight-forward smelt pattern, and while dry, it looks quite flashy and colorful, when drenched, it presents as a convincing juvinille smelt. No doubt, by tying this streamer on the line, you "will catch" your fair share of salmon. Carrie's examples of the fly featured a red head finished with a black band, a reversal of her usual signature head.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
