Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer #1 6xl
Thread: Black
Tail: Orange hackle fiber
Body: Orange floss
Rib: Silver embossed tinsel with the first 3 wraps wound close together
Underwing: White bucktail
Wing: 2 orange hackles flanked by black hackles
Shoulder: Silver pheasant body
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: The original Butch's Phantom has a painted eye and no jungle cock. With the silver pheasant shoulder, this Phantom is only a bit of peacock herl and some golden pheasant crest away from being Butch's ghost. I am a fan of the orange under black wing and it can be seen in a few of my own creations such as the Broad Street Bully or Carrie Stevens' Allie's Favorite.
