Notes: A stunning smelt pattern with a touch of glamour thrown in. The copper pheasant used in the shoulder casts some amazing iridescent bronze and coppers, adding some shine to the otherwise subdued pattern. The underwing helps to give some bulk to the head, and when the streamer gets damp, you might think Joel netted this one out of the creek. Another great Joel Stansbury pattern, I really wish we had more of them to share.

Now Joel, That is a nice streamer. I like its looks. I am going to have to tye some up for this summer.

Thanks guys. I just got back from my annual salt Water fishing trip to Florida. I visit an old High school buddy and we try to scare every fish that swims on the west coast. Sadly, they just laugh at us, and swim away. Got eaten alive by mosquitos in the everglades! and scared away by some big crocs 13-14ft. Decided we didn't want to fish that day! at least not in the 'glades. Ate some fabulous food, got a good tan, and some wonderful reminiscing about the good ole days!
