Notes: During the opening weekend of the American Fly Fishing Museums "Graceful Rise" exhibit in Manchester Vermont in June 2011, Selene was asked to make a donation to Casting For Recovery. She created this fly pattern the same day in the rain and cold, a unique and heartfelt contribution for CFR.
The holographic lateral scale body is used to represent the dynamic nature of a serious illness, yet the calming hues of hope with greens, pinks and yellows. When you try to focus on the material to describe the color it changes giving the viewer a glimpse of what Selene thinks hope would "look" like.
