Notes: The Panthers were added to the NFL as a result of the 1993 expansion process which also seen the addition of the Jacksonville Jaguars and began playing in the league during the 1995 season. In 2003, the team earned the nickname Cardiac Cats due to their habit of playing close games, with the outcome being decided in the final minutes of play. This kept the spectators on edge until the last second, and made for exciting gameplay. The Panther's logo is predominately blue and black, but also includes gray whiskers on the cat, a detail Don has acknowledged with the sparse collar of gray schlappen that shrouds the front on the streamer.
