Hello friends,
I need some help from Danish members.
We (me and one friend) are going to spend some time in Denmark. We are going to work and/or study there. Situation in Lithuania is not the best for non qualified people and because of that we decided to emigrate for some time.
I would like to ask about fishing gear. I will pick my 6/7wt Catapult for seatrout fishing and what rods do I need more? Double handers/light single handers? Also about the flies. I think i need mudlers/buggers/freds/sand eels and what more? :)
Thank you for information.

P.S. If there is someone who knows a work for 2 persons or could help with employment information please contact with me :)

What a great looking shrimp! But.. I've been searching the web for the clear flexi legs but I can't seem to find them. Anyone know where to get them? Thanx!

Kasper, Kern,

very interesting pattern, nice pictures, and "something to do" until September. And the way to the perfect shrimp has one more chapter. Thanks for sharing.

Rgds,
Ole

Hi Martin, another tip to make the frame last longer is to treat it with clear Tectyl, especially apply it on the inside of the frame tubes! Note: I have a new emailadress.
Lots of fun,
Ted

Hey there...i live in northern ireland and have found it very difficult to find anywhere to fix the felt on my waders (which stinks) which is peeling off..after numerous calls i found a replacement kit on ebay which i am now waiting to be delivered...After all the searching i have also heard that evo stik wet grab which you can get from B&Q for around £8 is supposed to work very well too....going to try the replacement kit first to see how it works...so fingers crossed this works...
Great article!!!
Thanks Aaron

Good article, I have done some in chartreuse and some in red, colour the epoxy, roll the nylon in it, wait until dry then put
a very small dab of black on the very end of the nylon, voila!! you have an eye with a pupil, and they look good especially
on bonefish flies. Neil.

HELLO MY NAME IS STUART I AM BUILIDING A 12 FOOT 6 FLYROD I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE EYELET MEASUREMENTS AND COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT 7 wt MEANS [THE BLANCK SAYS 12.6 4 pc 7 wt]

James,

I am certainly no expert! So I won't email you...

But in my own experience the best chickens we had were slaughtered in the late summer when they had grown to almost full size. We had a year with several Orpington roosters (we were not allowed to have roosters in our neighborhood), and these were slaughtered about the time when they started being noisy (very noisy!).

Industrial chickens live as short as 30-40 days before slaughter, but my guess is that ours were more like 100 day old when we ate them. And they were certainly the best chickens I ever tasted!

We have also eaten a whole lot of the older egg laying hens, several years old. They were nowhere near as tender, some of them only suited for soup! But if my memory serves me right, even the older Oprington hens were delicious. They are very meaty birds.

As I said: I'm no expert, so use this information as you please.

I need to know the best time to slaughter Buff Orpingtons for their meat. Only email if you are an expert on this field. I want to know when they are tenderest.

Hi guys,

I find it helpful if you include a list of materials and recommended hook pattern etc. This is a really good looking pattern and you've put it together in a way I haven't seen before.

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
