15 variations- From "The Practical Fly Fisherman". McClane writes: "While not many people use double-tapers, this design has a definite place in casting fanwings, large bivisibles, or hair wings, all of which tend to increase drag on unrolling line."

Stanton Hector's Double Taper
3 variations- These ultralight, tapered leaders consist of two sections: leader and tapered tippet. The first four sections can end in a perfection loop, to which the last three are added. Leaders are all tied with Maxima Ultra Green monofilament. You can shorten the three tippet sections for windy conditions.
