GFF newsletter; Adding weight (to flies) - Tutu fly pattern - fish recipe and more

Global FlyFisher Newsletter Jul 18. 2025

So, it's summer in the northern hemisphere and personally I'm on my way on a short vacation. It won't do much to the site that I'm away. It's just chugging away as always, and should things happen, I do have a laptop in my luggage and can fix it underway. I probably won't be bringing any rods. this is a family vacation, and not a fishing one.

There's new stuff on the site as you can see below, and even though the publishing frequency isn't overwhelming, there is new content coming out now and then.

As always I urge you to contribute if you have anything you want to share: tips on fishing methods, a nice story about a trip, some pictures, a fly pattern or whatever you think other fly anglers and fly tyers would find interesting.

There's plenty space here, and an eagerly waiting audience.

Tight lines

Regards

Martin

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
