Notes: We are back at it again for 2013. In 2012 the focus of the streamers was on Featherwings, but in 2013 we shift the focus to hairwing streamers. Bob gets to kick things off with his interpretation of the Bauman Bucktail.
This is a beautiful little streamer that has seen tons of action over the years. The colors are a great match for little rainbow smelts or brook trout fingerlings. The streamer has the option of being tied with a floss body or tinsel body, a nice option to have depending on conditions. The pattern was designed by Mr. Arthur Bartleet of Presque Island, Maine and named for Mr. Art Bauman of the Weber Tackle Company.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
