Notes: A tribute to one of his [Mike Martinek] major influences, Jim Warner. I can't think of a more fitting tribute to Jim. He is a generous soul, it is an honor to know him, and it isn't difficult to see why Mike developed the fly in Jim's honor. Jim has kept up many traditions that have long since disappeared, and I love buying streamers from him. Each of the streamers I buy from Jim are always accompanied by a friendly letter of gratitude, and some history about the fly you hold in your hand. It gives you a true feeling of being connected.

This casting streamer has all the elements of a wonderful fish catching fly having a dark wing, silver belly and strike inducing red and orange. I have seen two versions of the streamer, one with the orange tail and another with a yellow tail. Although the fly is a tribute, it is quite an effective streamer.
