Originated by: Ray Bergman
Source: Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing: Bates Pg. 238
Hook: Mustad 3665A #6-#12
Thread: Black
Body: Embossed silver tinsel
Throat: Red hackle fibers
Underwing: A small bunch of white bucktail
Wing: 2 silver badger hackles
Eye: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: This is one of the three streamers originated by Ray Bergman. The streamer should be dressed spare so that is compresses to a thin minnow shape in the water. The original pattern calls for a golden pheasant crest dyed red in place of the red hackle throat. A slight variation of the pattern calls for the tyer to place the bucktail on the streamer as a belly instead of the underwing and then omit the red throat.
