Originated by: Joel Stansbury
Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer hook 8xl
Thread: White
Tag: Silver oval tinsel
Body: Aqua blue UNI-stretch floss
Rib: Silver oval tinsel
Belly: Silver Dr. blue bucktail
Throat: Silver pheasant
Wing: 2 kingfisher blue hackles flanked by silver Dr. blue dyed grizzly hackle flanked by light Coq de Leon hackles
Shoulder: Light mallard under Humes bartailed pheasant rump
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: The layering of the wing is beautiful on Joel's streamer. It should be noted that the CDL feather is specified to be light. This is important so that the grizzly barring behind it does not get too obscured. A dark CDL with a darker centre would take away the purpose of stacking the feather patterns. Although there is a lot of blue in the pattern, the natural colored feathers tone it down, creating a natural looking smelt when it gets damp.
