Hook: Tandem rig (#4 Mustad 3399 hook up front, #4 rear hook being connected with wire cable)
Thread: Red
Body: Red thread (floss used on single)
Rib: Silver flat tinsel
Wing: Sparse red bucktail under white bucktail under green bucktail under black bucktail
Head: Red
Eye: Yellow with black pupil painted
Notes: The Bobby is a pattern tied in the typical Bob Bibeau style, tandem, colourful and sparsely dressed. The pattern was named for Bob and Frances' son Bob Jr. Back in the 1980's Steve had a gig netting smelts in the springtime and Bob Bibeau was among his customer base. The fly is a great pattern to troll during the darker days on Lake Sebago.
