Jesse's Biography

Jesse was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on Canada's eastern coast. He began his journey of fly fishing at a very young age when he found and repaired his father's old Shakespeare fly rod. From there, it was a natural progression into fly tying, making use of vise grips as an ad-hoc tying vise, scavenged scraps of fur, hair and feathers, and pilfered threads from his mother's sewing basket. His early years seen his fishing the rivers and lakes of Isle Madame, but he now haunts the waters in and around Pictou County where he resides with my wife Angela and son William.
