Emergers

This simple LDO emerger is excellent for rivers and can be adapeted to suit essentially any if the smaller upwing species including on stillwaters from march browns to olives to PMDs.

This tasty little chironomid is excellent for trout and grayling and can be tied in essentially any colour to match the midges where you fish.

We once again have teamed up with John Parisi who is the shop manager at TCO Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania.

This pattern is really about a method or concept in a fly, and hence why it is a "series".

Another fishy pattern that uses deer hair, moose mane and CDC for a great emerger that can be used for both caddis and mayfly hatches.

Fly Tying Recipe:
Hook: #10-14
tail - teal
body - pheasant tail feather
rib - copper wire
thorax - peacock feather
wing rudiments - pheasant tail feather

RS2 Emergers I believe were originally tied to match the hatch on trico hatches.

Materials Used;

Here we will be tying a Peccary Emerger by myself. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing specially when the fish is eating emerging nymphs right under the surface.
