Black Midge Emerger

A simple black midge emerger that is extremely effective, wether tied on a lighter hook and fished dry, just hanging in the surface, or deeper under the surface as a wet or just below as an emerger. The most effective sizes are 12 & 14. Although I find that black is my go-to colour, you can tie the pattern what ever colour is needed to match your hatch. See my site: https://thefeatherbender.com

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
