Jesper Fohrmann

Jesper has worked as freelance journalist, photographer since 1982 and has contributed to numerous books and articles on fly fishing in Scandinavia, Europa and the US. Jesper also does guiding for salmon anglers in Scotland and casting lessons in all fly fishing disciplines.

Jesper runs fishmadman.com, a company made by anglers for anglers. The company started out in 2008 as an Internet page, collecting information and historic evidence on surface fishing for Atlantic salmon. The goal was to make surface fishing and particularly dry fly fishing for salmon popular in Scandinavia.

Today Jesper and his buddy Per Fischer sell surface flies for salmon, steelhead and trout to anglers across the world. Their flies are tied on tubes and some of their fly patterns and fly tying methods has changed the way anglers perceive surface fishing for trout and salmon.
