A talk with Bob Clouser

An interview with Bob Clouser, takling about his new signature hook with Ahrex Hooks, the SA 210. A hour with Bob Clouser, “that fly” and his life and career in fly fishing.

Bob Clouser has had a long career in fly fishing and is so full of great and interesting (and entertaining) stories. We think many of you will be surprised with some of the information Bob gives around the fly and of course not least his life time’s friendship with Lefty Kreh, whom we are sure you all know as well. We don’t think Bob will mind us saying that he’s not exactly a young man anymore (and if not we hope he’ll forgive us), but over the interview, you’ll learn that doesn’t hold him back at all. Bob Clouser is still active fishing, tying flies, giving casting lessions, tying classes and much more.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
