Barrberry
One of the joys of fly tying is collaborating with other fly tyers to overcome a specific tying or presentation challenge. The Barrberry is one example. A fly designed by myself and good friend Barry Stokes when fish were targeting staging chironomid pupa just prior to becoming shiny as a result of the gasses they gather to aid both their pupal ascent and final emergence process.
