The BHSHPID Nymph is a fly pattern designed by Central Pennsylvania fly tyer and angler, Richard Tate. His creation, the BHSHPID (Bead Head Soft Hackle Peacock Ice Dubbing) is a fly that developed from the classic Gray-hackle Peacock wet fly. Tate subbed out the peacock herl with peacock colored Ice Dub and added a reverse wrapped copper wire.
