Here we will be tying the fly Black Ghost with feather wing. The Black ghost is suppose to imitate sand eel, a small fish that lives in the ocean and is sought after by larger fish. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing. The fly catches both brown trout, sea trout and salmon! Herbert Welch is the author of the fly and he did indeed hit the jackpot when he came up with this lethal pattern. The Black Ghost is my favourite streamer pattern ever made and I use it a lot. It's actually my GO-TO fly here in Iceland when it comes to fishing for brown trout.

Thread: 8/0 UNI black.
Tail: Yellow duck or rooster.
Rib: Silver tinsel flat or oval.
Body: Black floss, wool or even aurora yarn.
Hackle: Yellow duck or rooster.
Cheeks: Jungle Cock.
Head: Black.
