Black Woolly Bugger
One of the most well-known and all-around flies must be the Wooly Bugger. This palmerhackled streamer with a soft marabou-tail is a absolutely "must-have" in the box, and a fly that really can get the attention of fish. Although the original Woolly Bugger pattern was believed to have been created by Pennsylvania fly tyer Russell Blessing as early as 1967 to resemble a hellgrammite, or dobsonfly nymph, its precise origin is still unknown. In this video we have teamed up with dansih guide and fly-fisher and -tyer Jesper Lindquist Andersen to demonstrate how easy it can be done to tie his bead-head weighted Black Wooly Bugger.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
