Here we will be tying the nymph Burton by mr. Hafsteinn Björgvinsson. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing. The fly catches both brown trout and arctic char and have been successful in Icelandic water ever since it was made by it's author. The Burton is really simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing. In this video we'll be tying the simpler version of it, but I'll also display some different versions. All of them work just fine and many people like to use them a lot here in Iceland when fishing for trout.
