The CDC Loopwing Emerger is a simple little fly that floats in the surface and is built from just a single type 4 CDC feather and a little bit of Diamond Dub or Ice Dub. I form my loop on the front of the hook and don't require the feather to be trimmed leaving square edges. I tie the fly in olive, but yellow, pink, browns and black will also be coming off the vise.
