CDC Upright Spinner

An allround pattern for imitating spinners is a must-have for the dryflyfisher. In this video we have the skilled dryfly-enthusiast John Petermann demonstrating his skills in this universal pattern that can be variated in both size and colors to match the different species of the insects the trouts and graylings are feeding of.

Hook: Ahrex FW501 - Dry Fly Traditional
Thread: Veevus 10/0 - Brown
Tail: Coq de Leon fibres
Body: Peacock Quill

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
