Charlie Boy Hopper
For this fly tying tutorial, I am demonstrating the methods for a Charlie Craven fly, the Charlie Boy Hopper. This is a really fun pattern to both tie and fish, especially in a hopper-dropper situation. Featured in this tutorial are Allen Fly Fishing hooks, the D103BL, meant for dry flies and light nymphs (http://www.allenflyfishing.com/d103bl-dry-fly-nymph-1xl-barbless/). Thanks for viewing this tutorial, and feel free to leave any comments/questions directly on this YouTube page or email me:

Since you got this far …

Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
