Cicadas & Cruising Carp
The Bighorn River is a famous fly fishing destination for large rainbow and brown trout. But when the river is high from spring runoff, anglers have discovered the incredible dry fly fishing that Bighorn Lake has to offer. Schools of carp cruise the shoreline and feed on the surface. When the cicada hatch is in full swing, fishing can be amazing. This video was filmed in June, 2017 and showcases the action.
