Fall Vancouver Island Trout

Join professional angler, Paula Shearer as she does a fall drift in search of trout with guide Ray Gouchie of Vancouver Island Fly Fishing. There are four strains of trout in the river, rainbow and brown trout as well as both lake and sea-run coastal cutthroat. All are following the spawning fall salmon in search of a meal.“I learned to fly fish here, it’s close to my heart and a special place to me and I’d like to show people what I care so much about here.” Says Ray.
