Fishing after Hurricane Harvey!

The devastation of hurricane Harvey was terrible in Rockport and Port Aransas. Just so sad to see all the trash and debris. Especially since Port Aransas is such a beautiful little town. I was shocked to see how much got destroyed in the hurricane. But luckily Corpus seemed to be in full working order, and I was able to spend some quality time with my buddy.
Wading this first day was difficult, and it was tough to find fish. Also the temperature was in the high 80's and the sun was pounding down on us. So being in waders was a bit uncomfortable. However it was a nice day, and we had a great time fishing even though we didn't catch very many fish.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
