Flash Winged Ant

This foam ant fly was requested from one of my customers to tie for him. He was fishing the San Juan River and wanted quite a few of them for the ant season. Size 16 in both brown and Black. So I started tying them up for him, and realized its a pretty simple pattern but looks like it will fish very well. So here I am making a video to show you all how to tie it. Im not sure this is the original way of tying these, but its how I figured out to tie them easily and uniformly.

As stated in the video, and both have sponsored this video. Their shops offer great prices on quality materials, hooks, and even fishing gear. Go check them out today. And don't forget, type in the discount code "McFly" at checkout for 15% off of anything you buy in their shops.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
