Flat Head Tubefly
Fishing for sea-run brown in the rivers ad streams often happens during the night or the darkest hours of the day. Here in scandinavia even small streams can hide very large sea-runs and in some rivers we sometimes see an average weight as large as up to 7 kg. To get the attention for big trouts in the nighttime we often use large tubeflies that pushes much water and gets the attention of the trouts. In this video we have teamed up with salmon and seatrout fisherman and professional flytyer Martin Votborg from #MinFlue - he puts some extra stuff to his tubeflies like a flat plastic-disc and rubberlegs, and it works… give it a try yourself.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
