Hunting for chub on a meadow creek with terrestrials and fiberglass fly rod.
Finally it is here! Long time awaited video about fly fishing in Prague! There are some hidden treasures for a fly fisher even in the capital city and this is hopefully just a part one I've created about fly fishing for coarse fish. This time I spent a few hours on a beautiful meadow creek Rokytka, armed with a Butter Stick 2wt fiberglass fly rod and Redington Zero fly reel. As a fly pattern I've chosen some terrestrials, which are very common especially when fly fishing for chub is taking place. More fly fishing reports will come soon!

The common housefly is indeed... eh.... common, and an obvious insect to imitate. Bulgarian Radoslav Kiskinov has made a simple but very efficient pattern imitating Musca domestica using foam, raffia and peacock herl, which will catch several species when fished dry.
