The Grizzly King is one of the old classic wet fly patterns. First tied in 1840 by Scottish zoologist James Wilson for troutfishing and proberbly for imitationg the large green drake. Later on the pattern became a popular fly all around the world for trout and salmon. In this video we have had the skilled Swedish flyfisher and flytyer Håkan Karsnäser to tie the classic Grizzly King but with a twist and turning it into a version for salmonfishing.
