A must have jig for Euro nymphing that is quick and easy to tie, durable and above all, incredibly effective!
Tie these up in all sizes. For colder water I like to increase the length and density, of the hares ear collar, this will put the breaks on, so the nymph will jig slower.

Hook: Mustad Heritage J60XAP barbless jig # 14
Tying thread: Sheer 14/0 Red
Bead: Slotted tungsten black
Tail: Coq De Leon fibres
Rib: Copper wire
Abdomen: Pheasant tail fibres
Thorax: Hare ear dubbing
Collar: Red tying thread
