This simple little midge fly pattern can be tied in a number of colors. My top colors are the black/purple, red and orange. This fly is a good still water fly for imitating a chironomid or midge pupa, but my favorite application is on small creeks in the springtime. I swing this as a single or pair through tail outs on some of my favorite pockets.
