Killer Kebari
This is Chris Stewart aka Tenkarabum’s pattern adding a hackle to Frank Sawyer’s famous Killer Bug.
This pattern was a fan favorite in the early years of US Tenkara and spawned the more famous Utah Killer Bug.
This fly is great and mimics many food items fish eat. It uses wool yarn which now can be purchased as spooled products and in many colors from fly tying sources and beyond.
Here is a link to step by step tying instructions from Tenkarabum. https://www.tenkarabum.com/killer-kebari.html
Here is a link to get the Chadwick substitute yarn and/or other colors. This is but one source and I have no financial interest in this so buy what and where you like! https://dragontailtenkara.com/collections/fly-tying-yarn/products/sem-ch...
Have fun with this fly it is a great pattern!

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
